Today I received some amazing news. My newest favorite band, Heavens to Betsy, has new music! I went on a retreat a few weekends ago, and I totally fell in love. They write and cover some wonderful Christian music, and they even redid some modern music exceptionally well. I've been waiting for the day when I could check out their myspace and listen to something new from them. It's great :)

Also today, I got a letter from a college in the mail, only it was hand-written! I think that's the coolest thing ever. If I ever had the job of writing to students from a college, I would want to write them all by hand. Unfortunately that might be me just asking for arthritis or carpel tunnel syndrome.
Yesterday I visited an antique store because I've been wanting to get something special for my grandma. She used to live in Italy, and she loves to tell stories of traveling and such. So I looked high and low and finally found two authentic and quite vintage postcards from Florence. They smell really musty and the print is sort of faded--It's great! I am wondering if I should write on them to her from me. I guess it would make it personal, but I would hate to destroy such a perfectly restored piece of the past. Any opinions?
