Update of those postcards from Italy

I was looking through my sometimes-forgotten blog, and I saw the post I made about the cards I bought from an antique store. My grandmother passed away this May, and I had never given her the postcards, like I wanted to. It's just that, I waited too long, and before long she wasn't even mentally aware of her surroundings. Then I remember the night before she left us, I could hardly get close to her because I just wanted to cry. I did before long... I cried that whole week, and I still feel sensitive to the realization of her being gone. But for her wake, I wrote on one of the Florence postcards, and I gave it to my aunt to put in her coffin. I'm not sure what happens after you die, but I really hope she was somehow able to see what I left her. Honestly though, I have a lot of questions about God and heaven now. People have to die, though, and nothing lasts forever. I guess.

Last Week in Review

Last week I went to a journalism workshop in Hattiesburg, MS where I met some awesome friends while learning about photography, TV broadcasting, radio, and newspaper writing. My other blog usmmirandaadams.blogspot.com tells my story about everything that happened. The people that were there with me were all extremely talented, and I hope to be working with them in the future. I might have decided to go to the University of Southern Mississippi as well.
